POTUS threatened to cut off funding to schools that don’t open, but since he doesn’t control the funds, it just more lies and loud barking Thant anything of substance. Congress does, and we can’t see Speaker Pelosi caving on this.
Trump may try to look for a way to push around some funds to pressure school districts, but that would lead to a court battle over misappropriation of funds, and like his Mexico wall, he rarely wins these legal battles. Unfortunately, some people never learn or grow up.
