The world's businesses and governments need to reconnect with each other and their local communities to be able to better serve society. Which are the major challenges today, in light of globalization?
One challenge lies in the unilateral adoption of policies, and excitingly disruptive technologies. The factors that serve as opportunities for a stronger, more interconnected network of aid provision and overarching citizenry.
The world spends $25 billion a year on securing and obtaining food, water, shelter, medical supplies and other emergency resources to far-flung regions.
We must accept as private actors that through effective industrial and external partnerships, it is in our hands to create lasting change. Our ultimate rate of success is only derived from collaborative efforts.
Every one of us has to pitch in and do our part. I have followed a career path which leads to multilingual communications start-ups and turnaround media projects which provide local as well as global content.
Over the years, I have launched and or re-directed businesses, which provide local regional, national and international news and information content in a couple of languages.
I have labored at NBC, Univision, Telemundo, VOA/USIA-TV, and News 12 The Bronx, which just celebrated another successful anniversary as a 24-hour news and information platform. There are many others doing their part, but many have simply given up, or for some reason or other never ran with the ball. Please, make an effort to make earth a better place if you can.
In years to come with an unwavering commitment to accountability, security, service delivery and corporate ethical stewardship, we will sustainably develop as next-generation face to face providers as well as operating from our homes to all regions of the world.
For those who need a hint, the solution is not only through social media. It requires elbow grease... WAKE UP WORLD!!!
