This is fabulous family news. I have been marvelously notified... This Fathers Day, my first gorgeous grandbaby will graduate from the University of California in Santa Barbara with high honors. A gift is on its way without delay. I am proud of you, Elena.
UCSB is ranked 30 in the nation, with a 33 percent acceptance rate.
Since Father's Day commemorates fatherhood and paternal bonds and appreciates all fathers and father-figures including grandfathers, great-grandfathers, stepfathers, and foster fathers as well as their contribution to society, I can think of a more fitting way for that day than for my first granddaughter to be graduating.
https://www.ucsb.edu/ is a public university with a fine rating. It is where the land meets the sea, where brilliant minds meet each other, and where academic excellence and social engagement unite to spark creativity and discovery. UC Santa Barbara is a research university and one of the 10 campuses of the University of California system.
Congratulations, Elena. You're my number one and I am just as proud as your mom, the image of a young and beautiful woman on the left, who deserves credit for the wonderful woman you have turned into from the days you used to say... Goodnight grandpa... See you in the morning.
Thanks to Maria Elena Cosio Soto, and it will also be a happy fathers day for my sons-in-law Robert Roman and Charlie Yusta and everyone delighted of Elena Roman’s great accomplishments.
KUDOS, ELENA... You are the essence of beauty and brilliance. Let there be eternal light.
