I started today with a video Tele-visit with my lovely and talented Gastroenterologist to celebrate Fat Tuesday on this special day.
Gastroenterology is the branch of medicine that focuses on the digestive tract and the gallbladder, liver, bile ducts, and pancreas. A gastroenterologist is a doctor who deals in those fields and is also referred to as a GI specialist or a GI doctor. She suggested I lose weight, or at the very least, try not to add any excess pounds.
