As Republicans rip each other apart in Georgia, December 7, 2020, is the day of political infamy. The last day to register to vote.
Many feared GOP would tear itself to pieces after Trump lost. However, who would have known never Republicans would attack each other over a debate about whether Republicans should bother to vote in a manjo US Senate runoff?
The word "infamy" derives from the root word "fame," and translates roughly to "fame gone bad." and in the peach state, both US Senate seats are up for grabs, which may alter the balance of power for years to come.
This has been a very long, stressful time for all of us and many have reached their breaking point.
Georgia Democrats write this down: December 14 is the first day of early voting. Find your polling place. Make a plan. If you vote, Democrats win the US Senate.

The past years have brought the world unprecedented challenges. The extremely difficult work of caring for the underserved, amplifying the needs of the voiceless, and activating people to lead, vote, and demand justice has never been more difficult.
COVID19 and heightened voter suppression efforts, violence, hateful rhetoric, and societal division are but a few of the many obstacles facing our communities. This current state of our country has reinforced the need to support organizations that fight through the noise, the hate, and the vitriol to rise above and to lead. https://georgia.gov/vote-absentee-ballot
Under Georgia's laws, a Senate candidate needs to hit 50% of the vote to avoid a runoff. Neither of the state's Republican senators -- David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler -- have so far reached that cutoff, meaning both contests will likely go to a runoff on January 5.
