Government Obstructionists Party

Why does the GOP continually insist on counterproductive practices of deliberately preventing a planned political process? Have Republicans lost their way and are they one step closer to tearing up the USA? Why would they be allowed to succeed?

Republicans have looked the other way on Trump’s scandals and misdeeds, ignoring their majority oversight responsibilities and undermining the entire idea of checks and balances. Our forefathers established our nation under God to embrace a mindset that all men and women are created equal and that no one is above the law.

As a former GM-15/10 Federal Division Chief for the Republican party, it upsets me to say this is not only another major blow for the GOP and the presidency but a massive #USA blunder after Congress failed to pass an All-American Farm Bill.

The Agriculture Adjustment Act was passed by Congress in 1933 as a part of Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal. This Farm bill allowed farmers to receive payment for not growing food on a portion of their land allocated by the US Agriculture Department.

Has the GOP lost its way and come one step closer to tearing up the USA?. Can they and will they eventually succeed? Another major blow to Trump and the entire Republican party as they failed to garner enough votes for a sweeping American farm bill.

Dysfunction, cynicism, and policies that place Americans in danger and make them less healthy. The Farm Bill, which is renewed every five years (if things go right) is maddeningly complex and nearly impossible to understand, even for experts.

The US House of Representatives defeat of a sweeping farm bill is a major rebuke to GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan that raises questions within his own caucus about his political clout, strength and his ability to lead it through the crucial midterm elections.

The collapse of the important farm bill, which must be renewed every five years, was triggered by defections by Republican members of the House Freedom Caucus, a group of hard-line conservatives who have long been a thorn in Mr. Ryan’s side. They managed an aggressive move by centrist Republicans. Has Trump's GOP forsaken American farmers?

One activist explained it this way. The GOP Farm Bill failed not because it will hurt poor families and cause kids to go hungry, it failed because the Freedom Caucus has been manipulating it as leverage to pass a different bill to deport immigrants. https://www.endthegop.org/ Republican Party.
