Holy Christ

Appropriate on Sunday, Holy Christ is the phrase that replaces holy crap after your Christian friends continually tell you to stop cursing.

Frederick Trump was a German–American businessman and the patriarch of the Trump family. Born in Kallstadt, in the Kingdom of Bavaria. Trump immigrated to the United States at the age of 16 and started working as a barber. Several years later, in 1891, he moved to the Northwest. He made his fortune by operating a brothel in Canada. He later returned to Kallstadt and married Elisabeth Christ. As he had emigrated without fulfilling mandatory military service, Bavarian authorities stripped him of his Bavarian citizenship. Trump and his family returned to the United States. He became a U.S. citizen in 1892. He died at age 49 of the 1918 Spanish Flu.

Trump worked as a barber and hotel manager and began to acquire real estate in Queens. He was the father of Frederick C. Trump and the paternal grandfather of the 45th U.S. president, Donald J. Trump.

Frederick Christ Trump October 11, 1905 – June 25, 1999, was a prominent American real estate developer in New York City. He was the father of Donald Trump, the 45th and incumbent president of the United States.

He reportedly went into business in partnership with his mother, Elizabeth Christ Trump, Fred began a career in home construction and sales. Their real estate development company was incorporated as "E. Trump & Son" in 1927. It grew to build and manage single-family houses in Queens, barracks, and garden apartments for U.S. Navy personnel near major shipyards along the East Coast, more than 27K NYC apartments.

Trump was investigated by a U.S. Senate committee for profiteering in 1954, and again by the State of New York in 1966. Donald J Trump then became the president of his father's real estate business in 1971.

They were sued by the U.S. Justice Department's Civil Rights Division for violating the Fair Housing Act in 1973. In later years, Fred allegedly conducted fraud to benefit Donald and suffered from Alzheimer's disease. In 1997, when he was worth over a billion dollars, he transferred the majority of his buildings to his surviving children, who sold them in 2004 for over 16 times their previously declared worth, dodging hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes. And so it goes. Like father, like son?
