Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is also known by her initials AOC, is a young American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for, me, my family, and my neighbors at New York City's 14th Congressional District.
The region includes the eastern part of the Bronx and portions of north-central Queens. She is a bilingual Latina and a member of the Democratic Party. When I first spoke with AOC in City Island, she asked me "would you please vote for me?" My response was not what she expected. I said no and replied in Spanish that I have no political affiliation, and therefore I was not allowed to vore during primary elections.
