The Pew Research Center says the State of the News Media 2015 is in good shape and viewership as well as revenues were up at local TV stations last year.
But the trend in rising viewership could be bad news for anchors and crew members who like to sleep late. Viewer numbers were up for early morning and early evening newscasts, but down for late night news.
Call it a mobile majority. At the start of 2015, 39 of the top 50 digital news websites have more traffic to their sites and associated applications coming from mobile devices than from desktop computers, according to PRC.
