The smash-hit song "Love Me Do" was the debut single by the English rock band the Beatles, backed by "P.S. I Love You".
When the single was originally released in the United Kingdom on 5 October 1962, it peaked at number 17. It was released in the United States in 1964, where it became a number one hit.
The song was written several years before it was recorded, and prior to the existence of the Beatles.

I recently found my interview with Sir George Martin, the world's most famous record producer of The Beatles. Sir George Martin, CBE 3 January 1926 – 8 March 2016 was an English record producer, arranger, composer, conductor, audio engineer, and musician. He was referred to as the " FIFTH BEATLE " bt extensive influence in each of The Beatles ' originals. We spoke about the release of that iconic Beatle tune that we will always LOVE. Before sharing the audio I reached out to his son Giles and I am currently waiting to hear what he wants to do!
Inanimate stuff like recordings, albums, laptops, smartphones, blankets, socks, and images are never lost or forgotten.
