During Hispanic Heritage Month #CityImages will continue to recognize Latinos who made their name through activism, writing, performance, art and by influencing and representing the people they serve.

If you are in the NYC area, here's a chance to watch and listen to a Dominican pianist and musical artist at Lehman Center for the Arts this weekend, with none other than the legendary pianist Eddie Palmieri.

Eddie Palmieri is a nine-time Grammy award-winning legend in Salsa. Palmieri has released dozens of records on various labels, including what is now considered groundbreaking albums that include 1962's La Perfecta, 1969's Justicia Sun of Latin Music (1974), and 1987's The Truth: La Verdad. Formerly the bandleader and founder of the bands La Perfecta, La Perfecta II, and Harlem River Drive, Eddie Palmieri is always dazzling audiences with his exciting concerts.
