#ChasingCleveland The Donald's speech made no specific references to hope, spoke very little about freedoms, and only offered a scary Trump version of reality, which was at times opposing the Republican Party political platform.
At times, his fiery speech sounded paranoid, and as usual very short on specifics. America is not in decline and those watching said he sounded like a banana republic dictator
Finally, Trump never reached out to Republican party veterans, many of which stayed far away or all those members of the US House and Senate, who any leader has to work with to get anything done.
As far as fact-checking goes, there were too many references, so we invite you to read for yourself what the overwhelming media wrote bu exercising our US Constitution, which provides for freedom of the press.
Empty Promises
With law and order his priority, Trump declares, 'I am your voice' http://fw.to/AyRBSPG
Stupid, lying DONALD DOPE
That rant they called a speech was full of grievances, empty promises, stupid policy ideas, and lies.

Speech Reactions
Im an independent partied political science scholar, and this article got me thinking of perceptions as a concept in politics. I love to examine the ways people can see the same speech. Let's take this article as an example: http://nypost.com/2016/07/22/trump-made-the-rnc-into-his-one-way-ticket…
Cimages article: "At times, his fiery speech sounded paranoid, and as usual very short on specifics. America is not in decline and those watching said he sounded like a banana republic dictator"
Post article: "This year, the “I feel your pain” candidate isn’t a Clinton. Trump painted a picture of a moment plagued by cop killings, terrorist attacks, mayhem and injustice. It happens to be the exact same picture painted grudgingly by the journalists who despise him. “I am the law and order candidate,” he declared, and who doubts that? Plus voters remain more inclined to trust a successful businessman over a career lawyer/politico when it comes to economic stewardship"
Cimages article: "Finally, Trump never reached out to Republican party veterans, many of which stayed far away or all those members of the US House and Senate, who any leader has to work with to get anything done."
Post article: "Combined with his running mate Mike Pence’s soothing remarks the previous night, the message was reassuring for an important bloc of voters: Trump signalled it was safe for Republicans to come home and open their checkbooks."
This wasnt to mock either article, but rather to highlight how everyone sees thing differently. I guess the majority is right and the minority is wrong in cases of public opinion.

Trump's law-and-order stolen from Nixon, who caused an ugly backlash politics that still damages USA.
