It was 20 years ago Cuomo was an up-and-coming politician, Giuliani was known as America's Mayor, and Trump was a brand builder.
#Cuomo was hanging at HUD deciding not to run for the US Senate seat of the late Patrick Moynihan, but instead, stay and play a major role in VP Al Gore's close but unsuccessful presidential campaign. Years later he was quoted saying “I want the whole state singing in the same voice, and the name of the song is ‘Change Albany Now!’ ” He changed it alright, but not the way most expected it to change. Following a long investigation of sexual harassment, a NY majority support beginning impeachment proceedings against him if he doesn’t resign over investigative findings that he sexually harassed 11 women.
#Giuliani was mayor of The Big Apple as well as the outer Burroughs. He then decided to run against First Lady Hillary Clinton for the above-mentioned US Senate seat from New York but left the race once diagnosed with prostate cancer. His ambitions for higher office were also derailed by an affair and a nasty split with his wife. He fought back tears as he told the press corps there was more to life than politics - his health and the people he loves. His cam pain antics are responsible for a present-day situation where is reportedly broke and disbarred.
#Trump focused a failed campaign on the issues of fair trade, eliminating the national debt, and achieving universal healthcare coining a phrase…The America We Deserve, but unfortunately, that’s not what we got. His bid was a preview of threats and paranoia that would characterize his closely watched Russia propelled to victory in 2016. The Trumpian madness keeps gripping this nation. But his latest Big Lie is no misfortune. Criminal investigations are underway surrounding the fall of the self-proclaimed billionaire who has fought to show the world how much he’s really worth but keeps fleecing the masses with a broken record and a tired #MAGA motto following a one-term lame-duck presidency with two historic impeachments. And so it goes… etc.
Those were the days, they thought would never end. In 2000 Andrew, Rudy and Donald went on on different career paths.
