The global pandemic raging outdoors has killed more than 111K people and forced billions all over the world to home confinement. https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/ https://youtu.be/ig6fdE5zz3I
While my wife and I pray and take as many precautions as possible, we're glad we went outdoors on a cold day and started digging the overgrown weeds that we had inherited from the previous Winter. We had our hands full, but we now feel fortunate to have invested our time and made that commitment to plant our garden.
But as the weather improves, and Christian celebrate their rising son. we are able to get beyond four walls and since we had started our garden it helps us to cope, hold on to hope and get growing.
The global pandemic may have sent the economy into a recession or even a depression but we are extremely fortunate to be with each other, happy together and we feel blessed that our family and friends have avoided the crippling virus.
Yirong and I have never felt so blessed to have a Victory Garden. There is something instantly soothing about getting out of the house and absorbed in a physical task. The one silver lining about all this is that the garden is waking up and there is plenty of therapy to be had outdoors not to mention the newly acquired green thumbs as The Soto gardeners.
Most people know about the A-Team... We are the S-Team. Happy Easter!
