PLENTY OF HOT AIR

Not a new idea, but an old sports controversy. NFL Quarterback Tom Brady has his opportunity to appeal a four-game suspension in New York City in front of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell today.

CITY IMAGES feels that Goodell's Deflategate decision upholding, reducing or eliminating the punishment will probably not cause major changes in the public's opinion of a four-time Super Bowl champion.

These perceptions occurred over time and during a stellar 15-year NFL career, but perhaps damaged in the AFC Championship footbal game in which he may have knowingly used deflated footballs.

If his suspension stands, Tom Brady could then decide to file a federal lawsuit against the league and, or Commissioner Roger Goodell, which may also include a request for a temporary restraining order that would allow him to play while the legal process plays out.
