Postal Worker Day

Submitted by ub on

On this #NationalPostalWorkerDay, we thank all of those who work tirelessly to ensure our mail gets delivered in a timely and professional manner.

Every year on July 1, #USA thankS our letter carriers. However, this year, we should offer an extra salute for delivering everything we need. 📫📦💯 #NationalPostalWorkerDay I gave ours a cash tip to thank them for all they do for me and all of you!!!

Please show your adoration by giving them an extra token of your appreciation. They will surely like it and it will make their day.

It reminds us that someone makes sure the mail gets through 6 days a week 52 weeks a year. This day is a timely note of just how important mail carriers are to our daily lives.

Across the #USA, postal workers walk an average of 4 to 8 miles carrying a full load of letters and packages, delivering them promptly to each of our doorsteps. Approximately 490,000 postal workers across the United States head out each day to our residences and businesses. Regardless of the weather, postal workers deliver all week long. Even when temperatures fluctuate from extreme heat and cold, the mail arrives. In the rain, sleet, and blizzards, too, the mail gets delivered.

Say Happy National Postal Worker Day to them... As they're still delivering in Rain, Sleet, Hail, Snow, Heat, and a Pandemic.

As segments of the nation are starting to reopen in phases. #CityImages wants to know how your family, school, the business changed and adapted to the new normal and remain open or to reopen. #WereOpen
