Internet Explorer, a Microsoft browser familiar to many finally passed away today after an extended illness. Explorer was 19 years old.
Microsoft decided to remove it from life support. Explorer will continue to receive tech support through at 2016. Internet Explorer is survived by family members Windows, Office, and the Microsoft Mouse.
Explorer will be remembered for browser technology and for bringing Web surfing to the masses.
In lieu of flowers, Microsoft is asking everyone to support Project Spartan, the new and improved browser which is expected to debut in Windows 10 later in 2015.
