Tomorrow, May 28th, at 3:00 PM, nine Canadian Snowbirds will conduct a flyover over the Hudson River.
Officially known as the Canadian Forces 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, these aircraft known as Snowbirds are Canada's military aerobatics, or air show flight demonstration team whose purpose is to "demonstrate the skill, professionalism, and teamwork of Canadian Forces personnel".
The squadron is based at 15 Wing, near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The Snowbirds are the first Canadian air demonstration team to be designated as one squadron
These aircraft, flying at an altitude of approximately 1500 feet, will fly northeast from New Jersey over the Verrazano Bridge, and will continue north over the Hudson River to the Tappan Zee Bridge. For a photo of the aircraft. http://bit.ly/1PIDSBm
