As POTUS is responsible for holding a record number of migrant kids in custody this year, this week The US Supreme Court decides the future of DACA. 700KI undocumented children who came into the USA in search of freedom and opportunity.

The President's policies forced nearly 70,000 migrant children in custody this year. They are sent to 170 shelters where mental health experts say they risk being exposed to trauma that could cause permanent problems.

While adding to a high-stakes immigration case to its election-year agenda, the US Supreme Court will decide whether President Donald Trump can terminate an Obama-era program shielding young migrants from deportation.

SCOTUS decision is expected by June 2020 as POTUS campaigns for re-election. The president ordered an end to the program known as DACA in 2017, sparking protests and a congressional effort to salvage it.

His effort failed, but federal courts in California, New York, Virginia and Washington, D.C. blocked Trump from ending it immediately. A federal judge in Texas declared the program illegal but refused to order it halted.
