Mother nature has a way to surprise us every day. Although the calendar may say Spring, more snow is on its way across the upper Midwest, Great Lakes, Northeast, and northern New England way.
Accumulations of up to a few inches are possible in the Great Lakes and interior Northeast. This could bring a more significant snowstorm on Friday and Saturday, with heavy snow from the central Plains to the Mid-Atlantic. Washington, D.C., could have its biggest April snowstorm in nearly 100 years on Saturday. How can anyone deny climate change is real?
Coastal showers and mountain snow will begin in the Pacific Northwest into California. By Friday, heavy rain, mountain snow, and strong winds will impact most of the West Coast through the weekend, and increase the threat of flooding. There will be a potential for minor debris and mudflows in burn scars in California.
