Pace University “Tech Talk” on Power of Social Media in Politics, Wednesday, March 7
WHAT: A panel discussion on several current and past social media-related events impacting politics, sponsored by the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems and the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University.
WHO: Panelists include Dr. Christopher Malone, associate professor and chair of the Political Science Department at Pace and a nationally recognized teacher of civic engagement and public values; Dr. Emilie Zaslow, assistant professor of communication studies at Pace who is interested in consumer culture, gender identity, and media education; and Dr. Cathy Dwyer, associate professor of information technology at Pace who has conducted studies of online behavioral advertising, online privacy management, and social media. Moderator: Becky Livingston, founder and president of Royal Apple Marketing who has more than twenty years of experience in marketing and communications and a strong background in technology.
