The site will be open regular hours, 9 AM to 5 PM, with hot cider and cookies to welcome the New Year, historic toys and games for children, and a 1 PM presentation about the history of New Year’s.

Shakespeare in the church: The Two Gentlemen of Verona
At 1:30 PM, enjoy a performance - by an all female cast of the Red Monkey Theatre Group - of one of William Shakespeare's earliest plays, a comedy exploring themes of friendship and infidelity, and the conflict between friendship and love.

The lunchtime series features a presentation and discussion about the public career and life of the inimitable Alexander Hamilton - founding father, political philosopher first Secretary of the Treasury, tragic duel victim, etc.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
The site will be open regular hours, 9 AM to 5 PM, with a special presentation at 1 PM by Springfield College Professor Martin Dobrow chronicling the struggles and triumphs of Dr. King in the crucial year of 1964, including a historic visit to Springfield, Massachusetts.

The Wednesday lunchtime series presents a performance of original and standard folk songs, with guitar and voice, from Sarah Lawrence College.
Wed., Jan. 28, 1 PM: Musket Balls on Broadway: The Revolutionary War in New York
A talk and discussion about the critical series of Revolutionary War battles fought around New York from August through December 1776.
