Scientists at the University of Toledo may have discovered how blue light emitted from your technology has a potential to lead to macular degeneration, which may be one of the leading causes of vision loss in the United States. Blue light from digital devices and the sun transforms vital molecules in the eye’s retina into cell killers, according to optical chemistry researchers.
