The Voiceless America

What would you think if we sang out of tune, or just stopped singing at all? This is a one-two punch to the gut of America.

How is the US government foreign policy broadcasting agency is losing its broad appeal and why is our long-lasting military news outlet about to be shut down?

Stars and Stripes reportedly began when the first Stars and Stripes rolled off presses Nov. 9, 1861, in Bloomfield, Missouri when forces headed by General Ulysses Grant overran the tiny town on the way to Cape Girardeau

A group of Grant’s troops who had been pressmen before the war set up shop at a local newspaper office abandoned by its Confederate sympathizer publisher.  The $15.5 million annual subsidies for #StarsandStripes is 0.002% of the Pentagon’s proposed $740 billion budget for next year? Then to add insult to injury, VOICE OF AMERICA is losing its strong and long-lasting independent voice. @VOA is a #USA multimedia agency that serves as the government institution for non-military, external broadcasting. It is the largest international broadcaster that produces digital, TV, and radio content in 47 languages which it distributes to affiliate stations around the globe. It is primarily viewed by foreign audiences, so VOA programming has a definitive and effective global influence. https://www.voanews.com/
