Years ago, when I began to drive, a woman driver was a negative condition that stayed with most females for their entire lives. It seems like this sexist joke has been around forever and people thought it was OK to make fun of their driving abilities, or as most would characterize it - a lack thereof.
These antiquated stereotypes included at least 10 scary personal experiences while driving per day, most pointless reasons to get distracted, thinking you are a good driver even though everyone thoroughly disagrees, doing a 5 point turn just to pull into a mildly packed parking lot just to make you look like a good driver, or trying to comb their hair, or put on makeup while driving down a street, road, or highway.
I have personally witnessed several ladies in my life who are extremely good chauffeurs, with one exception. My late mother was not a fan of driving so my dad accepted this fact and dealt with it, but my daughters, my wife, and her little sister, who used to call attention to her sweaty palms when she started driving are thankfully all exceptionally good drivers.
However, a female driver doesn't deserve a bad reputation. Most of the time, she drives like any human being. Woman drivers do find themselves in crashes and accidents. But instead of being hypocrites, men should admit they do the exact same thing, and it's mostly stupid guys who drive while they are drunk.
That was then, but nowadays its a brave new world. Born To Be Wild https://youtu.be/SKADXdHzERU
The world of transportation has evolved and the changes are so drastic that even women in Saudi Arabia are now allowed to drive an automobile. https://youtu.be/HKc3CRHlJEM
