Believe it or not, today is #worldmosquitoday. For over 120 years, World Mosquito Day has aimed to spread awareness of the risks mosquitoes pose to our health and safety. Now, we have Zika, West Nile, and other diseases.
This insect has 4000 mosquito species but only 100 bite humans. The rest provide food to fish and birds and pollinate plants. Without mosquitoes, nature's food chain loses significant nourishment and fewer plants.
