A family that plays together, stays together. Keep yourself warm while outside this winter. The best advice is to be active and layer as much as possible.
The science is clear. Playing together as a family is one of the most important things you can do for your family's well-being. It brings joy and light-heartedness to the home, reduces stress levels for everyone, helps heal grudges and relationship strife, promotes family bonds, and supports children's healthy development.
The slogan has been co-opted by others. In February of 1954 Parents’ Magazine said “The Family that plays together, stays together, ” and in December of 2001, the Times said “History has forgotten Catherine Hogarth, as her husband Charles Dickens eventually did. BTW: Charlie, those who cook together also stay together.
The other popular poster depicts overlapping hands of persons of different races, ages, and sexes with rosary beads and the words "The Family That Prays Together Stays Together."
When I was growing up, my whole family always had to go to church together. My parents would always tell us that "The family that prays together stays together."
Here's wishing all of you a Happy and Healthy 2021 from my children and grandkids. Love, peace, and happiness.
