PAY UP OR SHUT UP

This is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Who is Donnie kidding, when he is notorious for never paying his bills?

The original phrase comes from a 1620 translation of the Cervantes novel Don Quixote: “You are like what is said that the frying-pan said to the kettle, 'Avaunt, black-brows'.” Q: Avaunt? A: It's a now-archaic expression meaning “go away”.

How ironic is it for our former president to say something like this even though he has chosen to go through bankruptcy multiple times, because as a very unsuccessful businessman he couldn’t even pay his bills?!

I still cannot understand how anyone can possibly rationalize voting for this maroon. He is certainly not a leader. He should be an inmate in prison or at least be committed to a mental institution. Justice is coming too slowly.

“Speaking at a campaign rally in South Carolina, Trump said that while president he told NATO leaders that he would “encourage [Russia] to do whatever the hell they want” to alliance members that are “delinquent” in meeting the group’s spending targets.

“One of the presidents of a big country stood up and said, ‘Well, sir, if we don’t pay and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us?’” Trump recalled during the rally. “I said, ‘You didn’t pay. You’re delinquent.’ He said, ‘Yes, let’s say that happened.’ No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want.

Trump’s comments also show a misunderstanding of how NATO functions, There is no centralized budget that countries pay into. Rather, each country pays for its own defense; with an alliance-wide commitment to spend at least 2 percent of GDP by this year.”
Meanwhile, the rapist, fraud, conman, liar, and criminal defendant claims, or perhaps made up the story as he does, that he was asked whether he would protect a NATO ally being attacked by Russia if he thought the country in question was “delinquent”, i.e. hadn’t paid their fair share:

“No, I would not protect you. I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills.”

He obviously does not know what he’s talking about, or has dementia-like symptoms, or Alzheimer’s, or perhaps both.
This reminded many of this brilliant investigative piece by USA Today from June 2016, which found «hundreds of people – carpenters, dishwashers, painters, even his lawyers – who say he didn’t pay them for their work.»

USA TODAY exclusive: Hundreds allege Donald Trump doesn’t pay his bills. Donald Trump casts himself as a protector of workers and jobs, but a USA TODAY NETWORK investigation found hundreds of people – carpenters, dishwashers, painters, even his lawyers – who say he didn’t pay them for their work.
