New York City will soon be getting another attraction. This time it's the world's tallest Ferris wheel, as part of an ambitious plan to draw New Yorkers and tourists to a nearby island. It's Staten Island, the city's forgotten borough.

This 230 million dollar 625-foot-tall Ferris wheel be built on a spot in Staten Island overlooking the Statue of Liberty and visible to the downtown Manhattan skyline, offering a singular view as it sweeps higher than other big wheels like the Singapore Flyer and the London Eye.

DAME, Notre Dame

I'm not gonna sit here and troll ND because I think they're the best team ever. Because they're not. Not even close. Yeah, they're 4-0, and have beaten ranked Michigan State and Michigan. Two words about those teams: Big Ten. Meaning they're slightly, if not grossly, over-ranked and overrated. So don't take too much from those wins.
What I AM here to do today is to analyze how they got to 4-0. Statistical analysis, if you will. Numbers don't lie...as long as you don't misconstrue them as you are analyzing. They can be biased if you want them to be.

He had a shining list of gold albums, a popular TV series and was known for the "Moon River," Andy Williams was a voice of the 1960s, although not the '60s we usually hear about.

The singer known for his easy-listening style and his wholesome, middle-America appeal was the antithesis of the counterculture that gave rise to rock and roll.

He died last night. The 84-year-old entertainer died at his Branson home following a yearlong battle with bladder cancer,

INTERNET SECURITY

With the internet being a major source of information in modern society (for better or for worse), the issue of internet security has been given a great deal of attention. In fact, both the Republican and Democratic campaign platforms have dedicated entire clauses to it. Democrats would essentially preserve internet freedom as it is—largely a free environment, flawed though it is with piracy and illicit content, open to anyone willing to contribute. Their platform would impose little in the way of restrictions and would instead emphasize information security on the internet.

AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE FOR THE YOUNG

I think health care should be more affordable for people my age. I am 19 years old, and health care is simply too expensive! It is said that people my age spend more time in the emergency room than any other age below 75. Forbes.com said that an 18 year old may go to the doctor 2 or 3 times a year, costing about $600. If they were to get health insurance, it would cost them over $1000 a year. It would be counterproductive for someone to spend more on health insurance than the actual cost of their bills. It’s like filling your gas tank and never driving your car- it doesn’t make sense!
