Mitt Romney: 'Culture Does Matter'

Submitted by ub on

I have spent my time commenting here and in other places attempting to reveal what I believe to be anti American and anti Constitutional behavior in our government, I see it on both sides of the aisle but primarily in the current White House.

I have not spoken or wrote about Mr. Romney, I figured that I will deal with him on the same subjects after he hopefully attains the presidency.

The letter he wrote which I have included below, is a simple and concise communication by what appears to be an American, speaking plainly in American terms about American values and goals.

Famed author Gore Vidal Dies at age 86 of complications from pneumonia (1925–2012).

The playwright, politician and commentator made his career by always challenging power. His writings were exceptional. Here are some of City Island Images' favorite quotes.

"The United States was founded by the brightest people in the country — and we haven't seen them since."

"Think of the earth as a living organism that is being attacked by billions of bacteria whose numbers double every forty years. Either the host dies, or the virus dies, or both die."

CIVILITY CICA STYLE

Since it's inception last year, City Island Images has continually grown a significant following as a result of our daily news and information service. According to Google, City Island Images enjoyed 28 thousand page views last month. As a result of our daily news coverage and our live video streaming of midtown City Island, City Island Images has been featured in Sunday's New York Post, as well as other local newspapers.

This 28K figure is several times the population of City Island and nearly 10 times the circulation of The Island Current, which only publishes 10 times a year.
