Both men face charges of lying to a grand jury and failing to report allegations of sexual child abuse, and both men still maintain their innocence.

Following Jerry Sandusky guilty verdict, law-enforcement officials are moving their investigation to Pennsylvania State University, where evidence against former top administrators and athletics officials has surfaced.

ECOSOC TO TACKLE GLOBAL JOBS CRISIS

The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) will tackle the global jobs crisis when it begins its high-level segment on Monday, its President told reporters today.

More than 500 delegates, including government ministers and heads of civil society groups, international institutions and the private sector, will attend the high-level segment which will focus on boosting productive capacity, strengthening development cooperation and creating decent, sustainable work.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for New York City during the daytime hours until tomorrow.

Additionally, the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory, which is effective until 10:00 PM tonight.

These conditions are dangerous to health. Avoid strenuous activity. People without air conditioning, older adults and people with chronic health conditions are most at risk. Cooling Centers are open today and will be open tomorrow.

The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the installation of a series of mobile temporary artworks, by artist Mary Mattingly. Part of her larger Flock House Project, four new Houses will travel to multiple locations within the borders of the five boroughs. On view through September, The Flock House Project can be seen on parkland multiple times this summer- beginning with the arrival of structures at Flushing Meadows, Corona Park and Battery Park, and eventually traveling to Snug Harbor, Coleman Oval, and Van Cortlandt Park.

Heat advisories are posted throughout much of the nation as a record-setting heat-wave is in effect in many portions of the U.S. as it pushes east and south over this weekend as hot temperatures are expected to approach 100 degrees.

NYPD ACTIVITY ON CITY ISLAND

The traffic on City Island Avenue was slow as a result of police, EMS and NYFD activity.

The missing female was described as 5'5" blonde hair 25-30 and a resident of City Island, NY.

According to public safety officers, they were searching for a missing person, who may also have

been bleeding. Officials took their time patrolling the area and later decided to leave.
