After weighing in on the power of his political heavy weight, New Jersey's Republican Governor says he has lost his desire to run for President this time around.

Some party leaders were pushing Chris Christie to jump into the campaign and shake up the GOP landscape after growing dissatisfied with the apparent front runners, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry.

The Ralph Crandon of politics, who likes to tell it like it is managed to sidetracked a race for now by plugging the plug on a 2012 White House bid in typical blunt fashion Tuesday: "Now is not my time."

Hurricane Irene effected residents of our hardest hit areas by flooding and some are still attempting to recoup losses sustained to their homes and businesses. Following multiple requests, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr today gave an exclusive interview to City Island Images - We began by asking our borough leader when was the last time he visited City Island? He said officially, it was for the Memorial Day Parade and personally, a couple of weeks ago, when he and his family came here to visit. Diaz explained that Bronx has 1.4 million residents, along with 12 community boards, so it's a massive area that keeps him busy. We spoke with him in English and also in Spanish. In fact his bilingual language skills are quite impressive.
