New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that New Rochelle, New York is a designated hot spot and will contain an area using the National Guard.
New York is sending National Guard troops to help close large public spaces in New Rochelle to slow down the spread of the coronavirus outbreak in the NYC suburb, according to Governor Cuomo.
The NYC bedroom community of 80K residents is in the middle of an outbreak of 108 cases in Westchester County, out of 173 in the state, while York City has 36 cases, while its population is more than 100 times that of New Rochelle.
