Dangerous Dorian

Dorian is churning in the Atlantic and is expected to become a hurricane soon as it approaches Puerto Rico. Oh no, where will Dorian go after that? Forecasters can only watch and wait.

Tropical Depression Six has developed between Bermuda and the US. It is expected to remain east of the US as it moves generally NE over the next few days. The depression is expected to intensify to a tropical storm by Tuesday morning.

The Case For Resistance

We may also call it defiance or opposition because Authoritarianism is an international infection and the disease has been gaining ground in democratic nations. However, autocracies like China, Russia, Venezuela, Iran, and others are facing challenges from within.

Our government may be moving towards Third Reich and Soviet territory. Our tax dollars being used to detain and abuse children FOR-PROFIT for indeterminate lengths of time with absolutely no oversight. It is only a matter of time before these designations will include anyone considered an enemy?

Did POTUS call himself the ‘Second Coming of God,’ the ‘Chosen One’ or the ‘King of Israel’? Internet memes and several news reports played off Trump’s comments made in a series of statements during the month August 2019. He will ultimately be judged by the real almighty. Trump now says he is not the Messiah, and was only joking, instead of apologizing for his inappropriate remark.

The Electoral College is a mechanism established by the #USA Constitution for the election of the president and vice president of the United States by small groups of appointed representatives, electors, from each state, including the District of Columbia.

Some say #ElectoralCollege was cooked up by slave states included in our Constitution to hold onto power. What say you?

A weird week of poor presidential performance which was unusually madcap, manic, and its not going to get any better soon. As the whole world is watching with a collective OMG - WTF - TGIF.

Sharks have social lives. They have a sixth sense, some live in schools, with a few which have lived longer than the #USA its founding, a civil war, two world wars... etc.

Polar sea ice melted to record lows as much of earth sweltered in unprecedented heat in July,
while temperatures soared to new heights in the hottest month ever recorded.

Severe thunderstorms and heavy to excessive rainfall possible today
across parts of the Northeast, with the heavy rain threat extending
westward into the Central Plains through Friday.

Showers and thunderstorms are also likely across parts of the
Northwest, Southern Rockies, and Central Gulf Coast.
