Americans young and old must make sure they are registered before they can go to the polls and cast their ballots. Today is the last day, so make sure everyone you know is registered to vote just like your life depends on it for a future under liberty and democracy.

Whether you want a victory for Republicans or Democrats, every US citizen must cast their ballots. For the Democrats to win control the party needs a net gain of 23 seats to re-take the U.S. House and two to re-take the U.S. Senate.

As special prosecutor Robert Mueller closes in on his #TrumpRussia probe, the president is increasingly frustrated that Mexico refuses to pay for his border wall and Congress has failed to provide funding for the massive project. Last but not least, his chosen SCOTUS candidate keeps gaining accusations, with the most recent female who has spoken up has come from a Latina during their years attending an ivy league university.

The one weak leg, which has yet to achieve a final outcome in this busy news week was the high school assault of a nomination for the nation's highest court. This should teach a lesson to all that we must control our actions, regardless of age, or gender.

The allegations made against Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh have set off a national debate about how to address sexual assault.

The week's news cycle was dominated by an allegation made by Professor Christine Blasey Ford that SCOTUS nominee Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were teenagers.
