One could argue that attractions and distractions come together but it is sometimes difficult to identify the relationship between the two of them. Especially when it is tied to POTUS and his press hating administration.

In this case, legal experts say the US Attorney General office is at play. Therefore besides calling it a Coup d'état the word putsch may also apply.
