FAKE NEWS

President Obama calls the threat of voter fraud 'fake news,' saying The USA is the only democracy that makes it harder and not easier to vote. Voter fraud and the claim of a rigged election have been disproved as fake news.

It was not true in 2011 when The Donald began to question President Obama’s birthplace aloud in television interviews. “I’m starting to think that he was not born here,” he said at the time.

Leaders say Trump has no sense of shame. The Donald 'a national disgrace' who engages in illegal acts.

NO RESPECT

Many cultures and traditions place lots of thrust on paying respect to their senior citizens. In some communities and societies, children are expected to listen, learn and give back to their elders.

However, everyone knows that respect is a two-way street and it has to be earned. According to national polls, Wahington DC lost all respect long ago and may have a long way to go to get back its Mojo.

Respect is a quality seriously lacking in today's society. So, what the hell does it mean when our elected leaders insist on being mean?

Sleep More Not Less

To promote optimal health and well-being, adults aged 18–60 years are recommended to sleep at least 7 hours each night. Sleeping less than 7 hours per night is associated with increased risk for obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, stroke, frequent mental distress, and all-cause mortality. Insufficient sleep impairs cognitive performance, which can increase the likelihood of motor vehicle and other transportation accidents, industrial accidents, medical errors, and loss of work productivity that could affect the wider community.

Most Americans across the country will be celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day today by either taking the day off from work or by committing to hours of community service in the name of the civil rights leader.

Dr. King is known for his iconic August 28, 1963, speech during the March on Washington, the biggest civil rights demonstration in American history. Martin Luther King - I Have A Dream Speech - August 28, 1963 https://youtu.be/smEqnnklfYs via @YouTube

In support of those who chafe at Trump's "success" as a President

The tragedy is what he "succeeds" at. My son and are about to lose our health insurance because of his policies. Many of my students' parents are about to be put on deportation lists due to their countries of origin and religious beliefs. My women students are terrified to be sexually assaulted in a climate led by an admitted sexual predator.

Death of Laughter

Most of us remember going to the circus as children, or adults, or both. After more than 146 years, with plenty of laughter, now comes to tears. The Greatest Show on Earth with entertainment by elephant and clown will finally be closing down.

There is good news and bad news. Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey® hold a final performance in May. The bad news is that after elephants were taken off the road, they saw a dramatic attendance drop. http://www.peta.org/blog/ringling-bros-its-over/?
