According to The Associated Press, there were several questionable moments during last night's debate. It appears that US may need a truth meter because there are going to be many more of these debates in the coming months.

Possibly this is stated this way because understating the state of affairs, here may be a defensible assessment of the seriousness of the stakes. The future of the country and of the free world. To be personified and settled by people in politics, business and health care who are evenly spaced apart inside a TV studio situated on the edge of the political precipice.

One hundred infected and ten dead from the Legionnaire’s disease outbreak in New York City that local politicians, who are crafting their own downfall are still claiming the deadly disease has reached its peak and that cases will likely decline in the upcoming weeks. This is not only a medical emergency folks, but it is also an infrastructure crisis: The reason this outbreak occurred is a failure to care for the buildings New Yorkers live and work in.

Today in 1911, Lucille Ball was born. She was best know as Lucy Arnaz and was responsible for some of the most memorable moments in early television, and even today, sixty years after the premier of I Love Lucy, small-screen aficionados recognize the genius in such moments as the "Vitameatavegamin girl" and Lucy stuffing her cheeks with chocolate as the candies rolled off the factory belt too quickly.

The Fox News debate this Thursday is using national polls to sift a top 10 from the 17-strong GOP field. However, national polls aren’t necessarily the best barometer of the primary’s eventual outcome.

NY State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman says his office’s Special Investigations and New York's Prosecutions Unit will investigate the death of Raynette Turner, consistent with Executive Order No. 147. View Executive Order No. 147 here.

Schneiderman says his office started a probe into Turner’s death while in a holding cell at the Mount Vernon police department, to determine whether a full investigation into the death is necessary.
