It has now been three weeks since prisoners escaped from NY State penitentiary. Officials estimate there have been more than 1,000 members of law enforcement involved in the massive manhunt for the convicted murderers who escaped from a New York State prison three weeks ago.

At an estimated $1 million dollars a day, that is a lot of money, folks. NY state police is leading in the search, but other law enforcement agencies are involved in the effort, which includes US Marshals Service, FBI, the New York Department of Correction and local law enforcement.

Same sex marriage is now the law of the land and the right of all Americans. Supreme Court says same-sex couples have right to marry in all 50 states, according to Justice Kennedy, who wrote the opinions.

Same-sex unions had been recorded in the history of a number of cultures, but marriages or socially-accepted unions between same-sex partners were rare or nonexistent in other cultures. In the late 20th century, religious rites of marriage without legal recognition became increasingly common in certain sects.

Less than half of the people surveyed understood the definition of sun factor protection (SPF) and only seven percent knew what to look for on a label if they wanted a sunscreen that offers protection against early skin aging.

"We need to do a better job of educating people about sun protection and make it easier for them to understand labels," said Dr. Roopal Kundu, lead author of the study.

Kundu is an associate professor in dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a dermatologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

5 WORDS 2 DELETE

Almost: This is a seemingly innocuous word that we use all the time: "I'm almost finished." "I'm almost there." "I almost submitted my application to my dream company."

I didn't realize this word was a problem, until a speaker I was listening to pointed out that "almost" implies not going all the way. And it's true. Whenever I say I "almost" did something — the truth is I didn't. I didn't finish, I didn't arrive, I didn't submit my application to my dream company.
