The first lady of City Island celebrated her 90th birthday a couple of days late, but its always better late than never. Her official birthday was actually on May 26, as previously reported on CITY IMAGES, but the top secret surprise party was finally scheduled for last night.

The Morris Yacht and Beach Club, located on scenic and historic City Island, New York, was the venue chosen by Jackie Kyle Kalls's two delightful nieces Lauren and Leslie. These two loving family members were the ones who organized the beautifully choreographed birthday bash.

No ‘Splainin’ Necessary Lucy; Lucille Ball statue in Celoron is being changed a donation has been received to move it.

a Massachusetts investor Is donating $20,000 to replace an infamous statue of comedian Lucille Ball that's located in her western New York hometown. Mr. Ernie Boch Jr. of Norwood, MA, has donated the funds to purchase a new statue.

Boch, president and CEO of Subaru of New England, said he made the donation because he loves Lucille Ball and is a big fan of her 1950s television show, "I Love Lucy."

Tomorrow, May 28th, at 3:00 PM, nine Canadian Snowbirds will conduct a flyover over the Hudson River.

Officially known as the Canadian Forces 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, these aircraft known as Snowbirds are Canada's military aerobatics, or air show flight demonstration team whose purpose is to "demonstrate the skill, professionalism, and teamwork of Canadian Forces personnel".

The squadron is based at 15 Wing, near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The Snowbirds are the first Canadian air demonstration team to be designated as one squadron
