Emergency personnel continue to operate at a transformer fire on West 33rd Street between 8th and 9th Avenues in Manhattan. As a result, West 33rd Street is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Additionally, one lane is closed in both directions on West 34th Street. Expect heavy traffic delays through the evening rush hour.
