Summer Streets takes place on consecutive Saturdays this summer -They are August 6, 13 and 20 from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm. The 2011 route connects the Brooklyn Bridge with Central Park, with recommended spurs along low-traffic streets to the Hudson River, Harlem and Governors Island, allowing participants to plan a route as long or short as they wish.

Erika Roman Foundation Hosts 3rd Annual CELEBRITY Softball Game 8/9/11

The Erika Roman Memorial Foundation, a charitable organization, will host its 3rd Annual Celebrity Softball Game to benefit children of the New York City Foster Care System. The Celebrity Softball Game promises to once again bring out the city’s top names in music, entertainment, and public office. The proceeds raised at the event will help complete the second phase of an Internet radio station within the Children’s Aid Society in the Bronx.
