During a recent visit to Chinatown in Queens, NY, it felt like I was walking down a crowded street in Shanghai, China.
In the past, Yirong and I went with neighbors Elena and Bill to Flushing for shopping and to enjoy pleasant meals, but last time the street traffic was awful, and the pedestrian walkways were worse.

We continue to learn about rescue teams working to heal the wounds of the massive earthquake that killed thousands in Turkey.
They recently rescued and brought a dog Alex found alive from the rubble. During their work, the sound of a dog was heard in the wreckage of a building as the dog's owner followed the work carried out by the teams that answered the call with enthusiasm. Although it was difficult, the teams were victorious. Alex was rescued from the wreckage, where he was trapped for 23 days and was treated.
