Trump Lost Once Again

Donald Trump’s tax records are now in the hands of the New York district attorney. Prosecutors obtained the “millions of pages of documents” on Monday, just hours after the Supreme Court denied Trump's last-ditch effort to keep the records private.

Bonnie and Clyde were an unstoppable team. The ragtag bank robber duo were inspiring legends everywhere they went.

Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Champion Barrow were lovers who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. They were known for their bank robberies, although they also robbed small stores and rural businesses.

This is a significant defeat for Trump, and we have the US Supreme Court to thank after declining to halt the turnover of his tax records in a New York state prosecution.

SCOTUS action is the culmination of a lengthy legal battle that had reached the high court once before. This second time puts his taxes on the firing line.

These could have been avoided if the president and our government officials would have just warned us about the real dangers.

These death numbers didn’t have to be this high. They’re a result of incompetence, indifference, malevolence, ignorance and hate.

America's half a million deaths from COVID-19 may be years before we understand the true toll of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Many years ago, when I was a cub reporter and aspiring journalist in Miami, I was asked to produce a new Spanish-language program for a young up-and-coming musical star named Willy Chirino. The show was called Love Van and it was supposed to be a hipper version of American Bandstand and Soul Train, but unfortunately, it never caught on.

Cubans worldwide have been waiting for years until the Communist Castro regime collapses, and have been singing about it.

As Black History month wraps on this year, it is worth noting that a few notable political leaders have been educated at an HBCU.

Historically black colleges and universities are institutions of higher education in the United States that were established before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with the intention of primarily serving the African-American community. Most of these institutions were founded in the years after the American Civil War and are concentrated in the Southern United States.
