Yesterday’s Newspaper

Your relevance is like yesterday’s news
Nobody wants to read about it
Sensational at first
At noon you are old news
By evening it is totally irrelevant

Once the lead that reached the front page
Your words were once quoted
Now, nobody wants to read it
The comment that was born in the early morning fades
Your words are the news from yesterday

Nobody else tries to read them
Sensational when it came out at dawn
At noon and confirmed news
And in the afternoon forgotten matter
Your relevance is a newspaper from yesterday

In North Carolina and at the end, after everything was said and done, wasn’t the Republicans who were left holding the smoking gun?

The GOP has claimed that our democracy is menaced by election fraud. It has been their excuse for voter suppression tactics, their rationalization for election defeats, and a central element of a Big Conspiracy Theory alleging that Democrats want open borders so they can drown good white taxpaying citizens in a sea of illegal voting by immigrants and other minorities seeking to give themselves welfare benefits.

Real Climate Change

Winter storms come and go, but whenever we report snow in Arizona and in Southern California is difficult to reject the notion of climate change.

The effects of a record-setting snowfall are expected to extend well into this weekend throughout the arid state of Arizona, including the city of Phoenix.

Officials say the storm closed long stretches of highways throughout Arizona where heavy snow had fallen. Many residents of Phoenix battled rain and cold temperatures, while Flagstaff had broken a 104-year-old record for snowfall in one day.
