Feeling Good is designed to be similar to some of those stories we have all read about in comic books. We will attempt to profile and make our readers aware of every Hero we are notified about.

UNICEF appealed today for $1.28 billion to provide humanitarian assistance to children in over 25 countries this year, with nearly one-third of this amount earmarked for the crisis in Africa.
“We have achieved many positive results in emergency settings in 2011 but the urgent and long-term needs of millions of children and their families will continue in 2012,” said Rima Salah, UNICEF’s acting Deputy Executive Director.

NYC Council Member James Vacca will join students and faculty from P.S. 72 in Throggs Neck tomorrow, which recently received new SMART Boards and other enhancements to the school’s technology.
Councilman Vacca provided $150,000 through the City Council to fund the project, enabling the school to complete the much-needed upgrades, which will help prepare students to take full advantage of new technology and give teachers a new tool to use in the classroom.
