Is it Autumn, or Fall, Y'all!? The official name is Autumnal Equinox. or equal night and signals Summer's end and hot days extinct.

Autumn, also known as Fall, is one of the four temperate seasons. Autumn marks the transition from Summer to Winter, in September or March, when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools down considerably.

Autumn arrives in the Northern Hemisphere at 9:54 p.m. ET Saturday night when the sun appears directly above the Equator.
