Prepare for another series of huge screw-ups with epic political proportions and ensuing American calamities, which are threatening to tear the fabric of our democracy.

Persons who were supposed to be leading the US are now so totally screwed up as to turn our entire scenario into a farce, or something that could evolve into a political storm which US voters never expected.

Presidential Pardon Powers

Perhaps the president’s pardon power may not be absolute after all? The power to pardon is one of the least limited powers granted to the President in the Constitution. The only limits mentioned in the Constitution are that pardons are limited to offenses against the United States and not civil or state cases and that they cannot affect an impeachment process.

Fired For Being The Best?

He assured Americans he would hire only the best for his administration. That was also extremely misleading, to say the very least. Does anyone else agree that firing the best is just incredible?

DACA Lacks Facts

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is an administrative relief from deportation. The purpose is to protect eligible immigrant youth who came to the US when they were children from deportation. DACA gives young undocumented immigrants protection from deportation and a work permit. The program expires after two years, subject to renewal.

RIP Stephen W Hawking

The real stable genius has passed on as the intelligent people of the world mourn his death. Tributes are pouring in after world-renowned physicist Stephen Hawking died at 76. His theories unlocked a universe of possibilities that we & the world are exploring.

His work made him a key voice in understanding the universe. He was born in Oxford, England, and graduated from Oxford University and later Cambridge University, eventually taking up the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics position there in 1979, a role once held by Isaac Newton.

US Classroom Walkout

Today's school walkout is about telling lawmakers to do something because students will no longer stand in silence while people are gunned down in schools, churches, and on the street. Today, thousands will stand across this great nation and say enough, no more.

Last month a Trump supporter stormed into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School with an AR-15-style rifle and killed 17 students and faculty members. Since then, Parkland, Florida, survivors and their allies have turned their grief into activism and advocacy. Part of the effort is this day's national school walkout.
