It’s getting close to Oscars, so where where are all those nominated women?

Last year, there were six Academy Awards categories with no women nominated whatsoever. This year, it is up to seven. These numbers are unacceptable and increasingly alarming across all categories, 2013 nominees total 140 men and just 35 women. That's not fair, Mr. Oscar!

This film industry grows with 78% of the top-grossing 250 films in 2012 had no women writers, 89% of them had no female directors. WT----?

Although it is Washington's birthday, this day is also known as Presidents' Day. This is a federal holiday held on the third Monday of February.

This day honors presidents of the United States. The history of Presidents' Day has links to our national parks that is set aside to commemorate Washington, Lincoln, and other past U.S. Presidents.
