This 1908 image of Big Leo is one of my faves. 114 years ago 11/1910, Leo Tolstoy—the author who gave us two major Russian classic War & Peace—died at Astapovo, a small, remote train station in the heart of Russia.

Being an old soul is not bad, but rather a clear understanding of ourselves and all inner and outer feelings and concepts.

It’s a gentle reminder to honor our depth, wisdom, and empathy. It’s about acknowledging our unique perspective and using it to navigate through life’s ups, downs, and sideways.

Harper was the perfect house pet, so she had a nice life for 15 years Harper was my youngest daughter's dog and a cherished family member. 

The love Sabrina felt for Harper was solid bonding because she offered a special sense of comfort, companionship, and joy that was especially meaningful for her who has loved Harper during her lifetime. Harper has transitioned and she is still with us.
